Location

Launceston, Tasmania

For many years the palawa people referred to this land as palanwina lurini kanamaluka meaning ‘the town near river Tamar’. Anthony and Leeroy have been living in this town near the river for over ten years, with Bam and August.

In 2021 we purchased Wahroonga (Kuringgai word meaning ‘our home’). Our home is built on a former bluestone quarry, the same bluestone used to build Sacred Heart Church, whose spire is viewed from the left bay window. We are working to return the house and garden to its former glory realised by Thomas Rawson in around 1901.

Enjoy your stay, rest, revitalise and explore the beautiful town at your doorstep.
